Day 49 - Lost One Pound For The Week

I made a good effort yesterday to keep it lean, but folded at the end of the day and had a few drinks.  I still ended up down 1 lb this week overall, although all of it was lost yesterday.  In fact, I weighed 213 or so Friday morning and 209.4 Saturday morning so that was nearly a 4 lb swing.  I need to do better all week long instead of trying to do it all in one day.  I think I said that last week... but I'll try again.  And I'll try on a daily basis rather than on a weekly basis.  I can do better.

Yesterday to get my big loss I had coffee for breakfast, a banana for lunch along with a lot of water, a cup of cereal and another banana during the afternoon, and eggs and pancakes for dinner.  I didn't have anything after dinner except for a few drinks.  I don't recommend this kind of diet for more than a day... in fact, you probably shouldn't drink alcohol at all if you do a lean day.

My major problem during the week was all of the work stress... good stress this week but stress none the less.  I still need to keep to my diet even when things are tough.  How are you doing?
